Leaders' Coaching Circles: Bringing Together Our Collective Wisdom
What are Coaching Circles?
Leaders' Coaching Circles (LCCs) are where you take your learning to the next level through the real-time application and practice of coaching skills.
Participants will meet for four one-hour sessions online. At each session, one member (Coachee) will bring a real and current leadership challenge to be coached on. Another member will coach. The remaining participants will observe according to the goals set, and the desired learning outcomes.
Session One will help the Circle establish norms, goals and go through one "round" with their coach. In Sessions Two to Five, participants will contribute to the learning by choosing a different role: Coach, coachee, observer.
The breakdown of the hour will look roughly like:
5 – 10 minutes – Check-in and role assignment (coachee will know ahead and bring a challenge), goals and key focus for observations.
20 – 25 minutes – Coaching session with observations
15 – 20 minutes – Debrief, observations and learning
10 minutes - Check-out
