Session Materials

Here's where you'll find all of the resources to support your learning, including:

  • Pre-readings, videos or other "homework" for each of our sessions. These resources will provide an introduction to the concepts and practices we'll be working with at the next session, so that we can use our limited time together to dive right in to the deep work.
  • Materials we generate during our sessions. 
  • Additional readings/videos to deepen your learning. Explore when the time is right for you! This space will be available to your cohort indefinitely.

Pre-Work for November 27

Please bring your workbook, The Advice Trap, and your TypeCoach Report and materials to our day together.

Before we gather for our next session on Thursday, please:

  • Read the Introduction to The Advice Trap, Part 1 as per the outline on p.6 (all page numbers below refer to your Workbook). (15-20 min.)
  • Do the Values exercise on pp. 14-15. (20-30 min.)
    • Consider your top values - what is core to who are are and how you show up.
    • Identify 5- 10
    • Pick your top 3
    • Find an "artifact" or item of some kind that represents those values to bring with you to our session. (Previous examples have included a medal, jewellery, a canoe paddle...). If you have questions, please reach out. 
  • Optional: Read the article "Curiosity is a Leadership Super Power", pp. 22-24. (10-15min.)
